Mister Rossi, suddenly gripped by a passion for filmmaking, buys a video camera and shoots everything as if the world were his set. After editing and adding a soundtrack, he submits his film to a festival – only for it to be rejected. Furious, he ruins it, cutting and scratching the footage. By a twist of fate, that very same damaged film reaches the festival again – and this time, it wins an Oscar!
